PostSubject: {Round 2 Ordinary day} Swimming Fun Turned Into Swimming Hell...   {Round 2 Ordinary day} Swimming Fun Turned Into Swimming Hell... EmptyFri Oct 14, 2011 9:50 am

A thirteen-year-old Cinderella swam in
her families pool, laughing. The sun had already begun to set on the
teenager's summer day. She had been out there since the sun had
risen, only getting out to use the restroom, or to eat.

It was one of her last few weeks of
summer before Sinbad and his family arrived to stay for the rest of
the summer, and she was not going to let it go to waste staying
inside.

“Cinderella!” Her mother called
from the house. “I told you to be in by five! It's now six thirty!”

Cinderella popped her head out of the
water. “Mother! Just a little while longer! I won't get this much
time in the pool when our “guests” arrive!” She stated before
diving back into the water.

“Cinderella!!” Her mother shouted
in anger at her daughter not coming out.

Cinderella ignored the shouts as she
continued to swim underwater.

The feeling of the water surrounding
her made her feel alive. If she was a mermaid, she could just stay in
the water and be free from everything above the surface.

Suddenly, an arm wrapped around her
waist, making her scream underwater, causing her to lose all of the
air in her mouth. Water poured in her mouth as she was pulled out of
the water.

She immediately started coughing when
she was pulled to the surface. She was laid down beside the pool. She
kept coughing up the water until she could finally breathe.

She looked up and saw her mother
standing over her with a stern look and her arms crossed.

“Mother! What the heck? I almost
drowned!” Cinderella gasped out, glaring at her mother.

“Cinderella,” her mother said,
ignoring her daughter's protests. “This is your new swimming
instructor, Mr. Charles Blake.” She said, raising her hand to
indicate the man next to Cinderella, who was wet. “Seeing as you
like swimming so much, I thought it would be best for you to learn to
swim properly.”

Cinderella stared at her mother in
disbelief. She had swimming lessons when she was little, she knew how
to swim well enough.

Cinderella's gaze moved over to the man
that had, roughly she might add, pulled her out of the pool. The man
looked about to be in his thirties, dark hair, dark eyes, and clearly
a fake smile on his face.

She gave him a cold look. “You almost
drowned me from pulling me out of the water like that!”

“It was the only way to get your
attention. You were ignoring me and what else could we have done to
get you out of the water?” Her mother stated.

“You could have waited for me to come
up for air!” Cinderella stated, standing up.

“Now, then, Miss Cinderella, that is
no way to speak to your mother.” Mr. Blake said, standing up as
well. “Your mother just wants to make sure you are save.”

Her mother stepped in before Cinderella
could say anything. “Just give him a chance, dear. It would
honestly make me feel batter knowing you're out here with someone who
is a professional swimmer.” Her mother gave her a pleading look.

Cinderella looked back and forth
between her mother and Mr. Blake. She sighed. “Fine, I'll give him
a chance, but if I feel like it won't work out, am I allowed to
continue without him?” She asked, looking her mother straight in
the eyes.

Her mother's lips went into a thin
line. “If I feel you are ready to move on without him, then yes.”

Cinderella glared at her mother. “Fine,
control my life as you always do...” She muttered to herself.

“All right then, Mr. Blake, you start
tomorrow.” Cinderella's mother said, turning away from Cinderella,
as if she didn't hear her.

Mr. Blake nodded, his fake smile
growing even more. “I can't wait to teach your daughter, Ms.
David.” His eyes moved to Cinderella. “Definitely can't wait.”

Cinderella looked at him with wide
eyes.

She didn't like that look in his eyes.

The next day, just at dawn, once
Cinderella's mother had entered the house, Mr. Blake's true colors
shown.

“So,” He began turning to the
thirteen-year-old. “you love to swim, do you? Never want to leave
the pool?” He said, looking at her with a fake smile.

Cinderella just gave him a stern look,
not answering.

“That is what your mother tells me...
Well... you have your wish...” He said, before pushing her into the
pull.

“Ahh-!” She yelled, falling into
the pool. A rush of cold water hit her skin hard and entered her
mouth before she had time to hold her breath. She swam up to the
surface and coughed, clinging to the side of the pull.

“What was that for?!” She gasped in
anger.

Mr. Blake knelled down to her level.
“You want to live in the pool, that is exactly what you are
going to do.” He said, in a low voice. “Now,” He said, loudly,
standing up. “Give me twenty-five laps.”

Cinderella stared up at him in shock.
“You're supposed to be teaching me to swim, not trying to kill me!”

“All right then,” He said. “You
don't get breakfast.”

“What?!” She said, outraged. “You
can't do that!”

“I am your teacher, you will either
respect me, or fear me. Now, do those twenty-five laps, and I may
reconsider.” He said, coldly.

Cinderella glared at him, before taking
a deep breath and starting her laps.

It continued liked that for the whole
week; Mr. Blake worked Cinderella from dawn until dusk, hardly
letting her having any food breaks or bathroom breaks.

One time, Cinderella really had to go,
but Mr. Blake had other plans.

“I'm going to the young ladies room.”
She said, as she started to climb out.

“Where do you think you're going?”
Mr. Blake called, in a cold tone.

She froze, one leg out of the pool. She
turned at looked at him. “I just
told you. The ladies room.”

Mr.
Blake laughed. “Oh, no you're not.” He said, before reaching out
and pulling her back into the pull by her arm.

“Ahh-!”
She screamed as she was forced back into the pull.

He
pulled her close to him, glaring down at her with his cold dark eyes.
“You will ask to go to the bathroom.” He said, darkly.

She
looked at him with wide, scared eyes. “May I go-”

“No.”
He said, letting her go.

She
looked at him in shock, before she glared. “What do you expect me
to do? Go to the bathroom in the pool?”

“No,
you will hold it until you learn respect.” He stated turning back
to her. “Rich spoiled brats like yourself don't know the meaning of
the word “respect”.” He stated, looking at her as if she was
bug that he wished to squash.

She
glared at him, but couldn't do anything about it.

She
had no time to talk to her mother about it and was so tired after
each day that she never had time to hang out with her best friend,
Marina.

On the
day that the Wilson's arrived was a day that she finally had a chance
to speak to her mother.

“Mother?
May I speak with you?” Cinderella asked, once her mother sent the
maid to show the Wilson's their rooms.

“Yes,
Cinderella?” Her mother asked, turning to her.

“Ma-may
I quit my swimming lessons? I'll come out of the pool the first time
you ask me to, I'll behave better to the Wilson's as well...” She
said, pleading with her mother. She was almost in tears.

Her
mother looked at her with a look of relief. “Really? Why is that?”

“...
Because... at the moment I'm tired of swimming so much... I have
gotten my fill for the rest of the summer, Mother.” Cinderella
said, not looking at her completely.

Her
mother smiled and hugged her. “All right dear, I'll give Mr. Blake
a call today to tell him he is relief of teaching you.”

Cinderella
nodded stiffly. “Thank you, Mother...” She said, before her
mother went off to the phone.

She
looked up in the door way to see a boy a little older then her,
watching her.

“Is there something you want,
Sinbad?” She said, looking at him with no emotion.

Sinbad lifted his nose. “Pfft, as
if.” He said, before stomping away, leaving Cinderella to stand in
the room alone.

@Kayla Thank you! Very Happy I'm glad too XD (you know, whenever I watch Quest for Camelot again, I'm going to be weirded out by the fact that the character will be called "Kayley" instead of "Kayla" XD)

@Cody XD I'm not sure if she would have if he had stuck around. XD Technically it was thanks to him and his family that Cindy had a chance to speak with her mother XD
