The last awakening?

"Ok sure" Ariel said. She kissed him on the cheek and went into the bathroom. She turned the shower on. She took off her clothes and hoped in.

"Oh. I had he is alright"

Sinbad laid on the bed and just starred into space. It couldn't be true. Was she really gone?
But that was what she had wanted, so maybe it was for the best... Maybe she was a better place. For her sake he really wished such a place existed. He really wanted to believe it. He wanted to believe she wouldn't feel pain anymore, that she wouldn't suffer, that she'd be happy.
She was really gone this time.

Ariel had the quickest shower she could. She didn't want to leave Sinbad alone. She got out, turned the water off and wrapped a towel around her and walked out of the bathroom.

"Sinbad I'm not leaving you alone in this state. You need someone right now. And I am the only other person in this room. So you are stuck with me"

She sat next to him, her hair dripping and the towel still wrapped around her.

"Sinbad you tried. There was just nothing you could do"

When Ariel sat down beside him he looked up at her without moving his head. Shortly after he turned his look back down again. He remained silent for a while before he whispered "Thank you.... for still being here...."

"Well its not like I can leave" she tried to joke. No smile.

She sat closer to him. She turned his head to face hers. Her eyes were glowing.

"Listen I know you don't want to talk to me about it. You know if you want to you can"

A vague smile appeared on his lips for a little while as he looked her in the eyes. He felt really lucky to still have her.
He moved a little bit to make room for her.
"Uhm... Would you mind laying here with me for a little while?"

Ariel walked over and snuggled in next to Sinbad on the floor.

"I know its hard on you Sinbad. But there is nothing we can do about it"

Ariel looked at him with her eyes wide. She kissed hi softly on the lips.

"I'm sorry"

"I know that..." he sighed.

Sinbad ran his fingers through Ariel's hair and looked her in the eyes.
"You have no idea how happy I am to have you here with me."

Ariel's eyes glowed. They were blue and bright. She smiled. Her teeth shone. A shiver went down her spine.

"Jesus" she cried out. "Why is so cold all of a sudden?" she questioned. Ariel snuggled closer into Sinbad's warm body.

Now that Ariel mentioned it Sinbad realized that it was actually colder than usual.
"Yeah, it is pretty cold in here..."
Sinbad held Ariel closer as he started rubbing her arms.
"I wonder why."

Ariel's whole body shook. It was freezing. Ariel looked over at the bottles. They were starting to freeze.


"Uh Sinbad" she said poking him. She looked at him and pointed to the bottles.

"They are fucking frozen" Ariel exclaimed.

Ariel breathed out. She could see her breath. Her fingers were freezing. The temperature was dropping fast.

"S-S-Sinbad?" she chattered.

Sinbad raised his head and looked at the bottle. Usually the cold didn't bother him much, but now he was actually beginning to feel it.
He could feel Ariel's skin getting colder.
If just there was something.... He remembered seeing a towel in the bathroom.
"Wait here, I'll get the towel from the bathroom," he said before he hurried to the bathroom and back to Ariel as fast as possible with the towel in his hands.
He folded the towel around Ariel. Then he sat down behind her and pulled her closer.

Ariel's body was so cold. Her teeth chattered. She was shaking.

"How come you can't feel the cold?" she asked Sinbad. Her eyes were dropping. Her toes with curled under her feet.

"D-d-did you want your money o-or n-ot?"

Sinbad smiled a little at her question, but didn't reply. It was freezing cold. But it seemed to affect her a lot more, and she had much less clothes on. The most important thing was that she was warm. Or at least as warm as she could get.

"Uhm.... money?" he asked confused.

Ariel sat around to face Sinbad. She reached in her chest and pulled money out of her bra. 100 coins.

"This is what was in the envelope. I'm not sure why we have it"

Sinbad looked closely as Ariel started fifling with her bra.

"That's a whole lot of money," he said surprised when he saw how many he had kept in there.
"Maybe we'll be able to buy something more soon. It would be nice, especially in this cold."

"M-m-maybe some more c-c-clothes" she shivered. She tried to snuggle into Sinbad further. The bottles were now fully frozen.

"D-do you think we will die in here?" Ariel asked. She was cold and she was tired.

Her eyes now looked dark and dull. Her lips were cracked and her nose was red and running. She sneezed and coughed.

Sinbad shivered. What was happening? Why was the temperature so low?
He held Ariel tighter, wrapping his arms and legs around her.

Would they die in there? He wasn't sure.
"I hope not," he stuttered. He rested his head on her shoulder, so his cheek touched her. She was freezing cold.
Was she about to get sick? That wouldn't be good. Especially not in that cold.
"How are you feeling?" he stammered.

Ariel looked at Sinbad

"Well not very good it seems." Ariel coughed. She wasn't used to the cold. She hated her. It always made her feel so ill

"I'm sure I will be alright though". She sneezed again. Her ears started ringing.

"Oh god. My head"

Sinbad was worried for her. Who knew how long it'd be so cold in here. And without more clothes or something else to warm her... It wasn't good.
"Maybe you should try to get some sleep," he suggested in a shaking voice.

Ariel sneezed. She layed down on the mattress and rolled up into a little ball.

"Can you snuggle me please" Ariel asked. She was so cold.

Sinbad laid down behind her, putting the towel over them.
"Sure," he said and let his lips touch her cheek. So cold.
He tangled his legs around hers. He put an arm around her and rubbed her gently.

Ariel sneezed. She enjoyed Sinbad's touch. It was warm.

"I love you Sinbad" she said. Closing her eyes. She fell asleep.

She was freezing. But Sinbad kept her warm. She loved him so much. She loved being with him. She was holding Sinbad's hand as she slept. His body felt good. Against hers.

Sinbad smiled. He'd much rather be here in this cold with her than anywhere else without her. He just really hoped she wouldn't get too sick. She was the only thing that kept him going in that moment, and he couldn't stand the thought of losing her as well.
He could hear she fell asleep as her breathing changed slightly.
"I love you too," he whispered, knowing she wouldn't hear it.
He snuggled closer around her before he closed his eyes. He had so many thoughts in his head. He couldn't sleep. Instead he just listened to her breathing, before he finally fell asleep.

Sinbad shivered. He opened his eyes slightly. At least Ariel was still beside him. He moved a little closer and wrapped the towel close around them.
"Are you awake?" he whispered. She still felt cold. He feared her sickness had gotten worse over night.

"Yes I am. I've been awake for a while actually. I've been coughing and sneezing all night. Then I just layed here and watched the ice form over the floor."

Ariel turned and faced Sinbad. She looked worse than yesterday. She coughed. Her throat sounded fuzzy. Her voice was disappearing.

"I feel horrible Sinbad" she croaked.

Sinbad looked at her with a worried expression on his face.
"Gosh Ariel, I'm really sorry to hear that," he said and rubbed her arm.
He looked across the floor. It really was freezing. How cold was it in there?
But it wasn't just ice. A little folder in front of the door caught his eyes. Was it from the Villain?

He sat up and wrapped the towel tight around Ariel.
"I'll go check what it is the Villain has given us," he said and stood up. The floor was freezing cold under his feets. He moved as fast as he could and got back to Ariel with the catalogue.

Ariel watched Sinbad go across the room. When he left she got colder. Her body wasn't right. She felt horrible. She coughed and sneezed.

"Sinbad please come back. I'm freezing" she shivered.

She looked at her hands. They were red and they hurt.

Sinbad got up on the mattress to Ariel again. His feet hurt from walking on the cold floor.
He snuggled in under the towel with her again.
He rubbed against her, trying to warm them both a little.
"It'll be alright," he said, trying to comfort her a bit.
"The Villain has given us a new catalogue," he said and laid it so they could both see. "Maybe there's something useful in it."

Ariel and Sinbad looked in the catalog. She saw clothes. Warm clothes. She was freezing in her shirt and pants.

She saw gloves and overalls.

"Sinbad we need to buy some of these. We are going to freeze in here"

Sinbad looked through the catalogue.
"WHat do you say about 2 overalls, 2 pair of gloves and two blankets?"

Ariel nodded.

"Thats sounds perfect." she said. She placed her head on Sinbad's shoulder. She grabbed one of the bottles, and held it in her hands. It melted slightly. She took a sip from it.

"Sinbad. You know you had sex with those girls. Well uh. Why did you do it?" she asked

Sinbad was a little surprised by the sudden change of subject. But he should probably have guessed it would come sooner or later.
"Uhm.... Well..." he started. He wasn't quite sure what to tell her. For a while he tried to start a lot of sentences, but stopped after a few words. He took a deep breath.
"Because I was an idiot," he said a last.

Ariel rolled her eyes. She wasn't surprised. Typical Sinbad answer. She didn't say anything and just stood up an walked into the bathroom slowly, so she didn't slip over. She shut the door behind her and locked it. She got into the bath and just sat there. She was freezing. Her flu was getting worse.

"Hey, don't go," he said as he followed her to the bathroom door. He tried to open it, but it was no use. It was locked.
"Ariel, open up. I'm really sorry, Ariel. But please, at least come and take the towel so you won't get sicker than you already are," he said desperately and hammered on the door.

Ariel turned the water on. The hot tap and let the bath fill up. She took he clothes off and ran her finger along the top of the water. She opened the door of the bathroom. Fully naked.

"You wanna join me?"

Sinbad was surprised when she suddenly opened door, naked. But he didn't mind. Not at all.
He smiled. Because he was relieved. Because he saw her like that. Probably both.
"I'd love to," he said and tried to walk closer to her. His feet were sticking to the ground from standing in the same place for too long. It hurt to take the first step, but he ignored the pain.
He walked over to Ariel and kissed her on the cheek.
"If you get in, then I'll join you as soon as I've gotten my clothes off," he said before he put the towel down and started undressing.

Ariel turned back and got in the bath. It was warm and hot. Making her body feel perfect and nice. She looked at the door to watch Sinbad. She bit her lip. She wasn't feeling ill anymore. The steam cleared her nasal passage. Her eyes looked better. She felt better.

"Come on Sinbad" she giggled. "The water is getting cold" she joked.

Sinbad quickly removed his clothes and put it in a pile next to Ariel's.
Then he went into the bath. The warm water quickly warmed his body. It felt so good.
He moved closer to Ariel. He placed a hand on her waist and looked her in the eyes.
"Sometimes you really confuse me," he said with a little smile.

Ariel giggled and looked into Sinbad's eyes. They were so beautiful. Her eyes were wide. Ariel just smiled at him. She placed her hand softly on his cheek. And kissed him once on the lips. She looked back at him and layed back in the bath.

He laid himself on top of her in the bath while he caressed every inch of her body.
"You seem to be feeling better," he said as he started to kiss her neck.

Ariel giggled and smiled.

"Well of course I am" she said feeling his kisses on her neck. She enjoyed the feeling as she moved her finger along his chest and down to his crotch.

They both jumped as the loud noise from the TV in the other room reached them. The TV was showing Sinbad with Anya, and the panting voices were too loud to ignore.

"HOLY SHIT" she screamed jumping. She walked out of the bathroom and looked at the TV.

"Sinbad thats Anya? She was my roommate." she said. She saw the enjoyment in Sinbad's eyes on the tv.

She coughed.

"OK thats 1. Anyone else?"

The image suddenly changed and a naked Odette was standing in front of Sinbad.
Ariel watched her as she told him that she would never know, starting to seduce him, the excitement clear in Sinbad's eyes and in the growing bulk in his pants.
