Back in room four?

Jane blinked a few times, as the sleeping gas wore off.

Back in room four!

She realized with delight. "Dimitri?" She called out.

No answer. It was stupid of her to believe that he would still be here.

She sat up and ripped the bandage Phoebus had put around her head off. She wanted no part of him.

Next to her was Dimitri's coat. She smiled and put it on, and wondered if her dress was still in the bathroom here.

It was then that she noticed the white haired girl from the dinner party. What was her name? Kida.

Jane began to call out, but found she couldn't speak, she opened her mouth again still no sound. She shivered, she could still feel his hands groping her body, see his face. She broke down and started to cry.

Kida saw her new roomate crying. She walked over to her and placed a comforting hand on her back. "What's the matter?" She asked.

Jane opened her mouth to speak. Nothing.

She touched her mouth, indicating that she couldn't speak and shrugged helplessly.

She looked into Kida's eyes, glad for the gentle human contact.

She prayed that shock from her "ordeal" had stunned her to silence, if not then that meant when he threw her against the wall she had damaged her vocal chords somehow.

Kida noticed that Jane couldn't speak. "It's ok, you don't have to say a word for me to understand." Kids said as she pulled Jane into a hug. Something had traumatized Jane enough for her to lose her voice. Kida would try to comfort the young woman as best as she could.

Jane leaned against Kida. She wished she could say thank you somehow.

If only Kida knew what had happened. No. No one must learn what had happened. Jane felt tears falling from her eyes again and she hugged Kida tighter.

She willed her voice to speak, but still nothing.

How would she speak through the wall to Lilo now?

Kida looked around the room. "If only I had paper and a pencil..." Kida said. "I know that some things can be very traumatizing, I got raped a few days ago, but there's always hope for a better future. My old roomae, Dimitri said something along those lines." She said.

Jane's eyes lit up.

Dimitri?

So he was still alive. Jane smiled brightly at Kida, she wanted her to say more about Dimitri.

Rape... Jane shivered, Phoebus, if Villian hadn't sent that knockout gas he would have.....

Jane shook her head, she just wanted to hear good news about Dimitri. But how would she ask Kida this?

She lamented the lack of paper and pencil, she had wanted them to draw with but now she yearned for the two simple objects to communicate.

Kida saw Jane's eyes light up when she mentioned Dimitri. "Dimitri's very nice... He comforted me when I wanted to die, literally. He's a very proper gentleman."

Jane visibly relaxed. Her face blushed with the memory of Dimitri's lips against her own and she grinned from ear to ear.

It made her proud that he was helping other people that needed it.

Her eyebrows furrowed with concern. Kida was going to die? Jane tilted her head and placed her hand comfortingly on Kida's arm, she gave her a small smile and wondered if this had anything to do with that redhead she had seen on the television screen earlier.

Kida saw Jane's blush and noticed that right after her expression became concerned.
'What could she be concerned about?'
"I was on the brink of comitting suicide... My girlfriend had sex with the guy I had sex with earlier... I know... It sounds messed up..." Kida said. "Did I mention that it happened the same day I got raped? That's a pretty important detail."

Jane's eyes clouded with sadness. She felt so bad for Kida, how dreadful!

She gave her a small hug of comfort.

Dimitri had stopped her from comitting suicide? He was more comforting and kind than he gave himself credit for.

Jane hugged her arms around her legs. She was still wearing Dimitri's jacket. She blushed, realizing how naked she was in front of Kida with just Dimitri's jacket over her underwear.

She held up one finger then moved to the bathroom, finding her dress inside she brought it out and held it up in triumph showing Kida.

What would the white- haired girl assume? Jane almost laughed out loud so much could be interpreted from a man's jacket and one's dress left in a bathroom.

Kida laughed when Jane held up the dress in triumph. Kida herself was nearly naked, but it didn't bother her much. She had had no choice about leaving her clothes in room 1, she only had her top, that didn't really cover that muc, and her underwear.
If only there was a way to comunicate with Jane... "Do you know sign language? Or morse code? It would be so much better if we could both comunicate..."

Jane nodded eagerly.

"Morse code." She tapped out.

"I'm sorry." She tapped frantically. "I can't speak... after Phoebus." Jane stopped and became ghostly pale. Instead she tapped something out.

"Dimitri was okay when you last saw him?"

'Phoebus... So the resident rapist strikes again...'
"Phoebus... He was the one who raped me... So, I'm not the only one..?" Kida said. Jane asked about Dimitri and Kida's expression became soft. "Dimitri was perfectly fine when I last spoke to him. He was worried about you... He really loves you."

So he raped her? A tear fell from Jane's cheek. Phoebus hadn't finished the "deed". He hadn't taken her, sleeping gas had knocked them out before he could tear inside her.

Why had Villian saved her? Jane felt even more guilty now.

-He really loves you.

Jane's heart fluttered. He loves me? All the past could be forgotten, even this place seemed brighter now.

"He loves me what makes you sure?" She tapped again.

She didn't want to ask Kida about Phoebus, would she be angry if she knew that Villian had rescued Jane?

She wasn't being completely honest with Jane, yes Phoebus had raped her, but that was months ago. This time he nearly did it, but the Villain for some reason had saved her from it. The only things he managed to do to her was pierce her. "The way he spoke about you. If you heard him, you could just tell..." Kida said.

Jane smiled contentedly at Kida.

She touched her throat sadly.

'I don't understand why I can't speak. When will I talk again?'

"I don't know..." Kida said sadly. "Things like this has happened to people from my tribe. They would face some trauma, usually their houses burning down, watching their family members being killed, getting raped... They began speaking again after they accepted it and moved on with their lives. They forgot to keep on living... At least I think that's what they did..." Kida said.

Jane shrugged. She was generally very talkative, but she had a feeling she wouldn't be able to speak again until she was back in Dimitri's arms.

She nodded thankfully at Kida for her advice.

'Please talk to me about something else.' She begged through tapping, 'Tell me about yourself."
